My child says their uniform does not fit correctly. What can they do? Direct them to see a uniform parent (no uniform swaps or tailoring is allowed).
Do I have to hem my student’s uniform pants? No. Volunteers will hem uniform pants. If you are skilled at this and can help, please contact the Uniform Chair
How are uniforms, gauntlets, and shakos identified? All uniforms parts are numbered and assigned as a group using the band roster. If a part is lost/found, the Uniform committee can identify its owner.
Where is the Uniform Closet? Stage-left in auditorium.
How do I store my uniform in the garment bag? Students are expected to hang their uniforms in their assigned/numbered garment bags after games, competitions, parades, etc. Pants are draped over the hanger after matching pressed creases together. Coats are placed over the hung pants on the same hangar, zipped-up and hook clasped. The coat shoulders should match the natural curve of the hangar.
How does my new band member get Dinkles? The Uniform Committee will measure students in August and will order Dinkles on their behalf (Dinkles are $35).
My student has outgrown or lost their Dinkles. How do I get a new pair? Contact the Uniform Chair and they can help order a new pair.
Are the uniforms cleaned regularly? The PBSO will have the uniforms dry-cleaned as needed throughout the year, to maintain a sharp and odor-free appearance.
Where can I find information about Uniforms other than the web site? Email the Uniform Chair
